Week 2 Quitting Smoking with ECigs

I been trying to quit smoking for 2 weeks now, its a horrible habit and I hope to overcome it soon. I'm using ecigs to shy away from traditional cigarettes. 

Week 2 - Quitting Smoking w/ ECigs

Some people would think this is an over share but ya'll know me. I don't believe in over sharing and I like it keep it real.

I have when from a half pack to between 5-10 a day depending on my stress level that day, and also how much I'm driving. I seemed to have pared driving with smoking and smoke ALOT in the car.

I also got my dad to say he would also try ecigs which is awesome because he has a ton of health issues going on right now and is totally hard headed about quitting

I plan to update every once in a while on my progress, and if I find things that I think are cool that are helping me.

Special Needs Mom Problems - Massive Amounts of Alarms

Everyday all day I am reminded, notified and alarmed by my tablet that its time for me to do something in my day. From sun up til' sun down this girl has it together thanks to her alarms lol.

I have been so busy I didn't have time to make anything beside the video today, but Dylan's school started the Thanks giving vacation today so he didn't go to school and that's why there is no Daily send home sheet in this report :)

 Today at school Dylan of the following according to the daily objectives send him sheet sent by his teacher.

1-No Response/hand over hand

2-Multiple prompts (Gestural, physical,visual, and/or verbal)

3-No more then 2 verbal prompts

4-Independent

• 1 imitate action with body or toys 
• 3 request objects with a single picture with open hand cue and one prompt. . 
• 2 complete fine motor activities 
• 3 sit for 5 minutes at group without adult assistance.
• 2 work on age appropriate table activity for 2 minutes

His daily classroom activities were

• Play skills 
• Gross motor 
• Fine motor 
• Language arts 
• Snack 
• Morning work 
• Sensory Activity - Sensory Room
• Calendar 
• Lunch 
• Handwriting Program

Dylan's teacher made comments today was a great day. Dylan was in a happy mood today. He did a great job staying in his booster seat for calendar and math. He accepted hand over hand help to complete his math matching worksheets.

So Why Blog, You Ask?

I recently created this video trying to explain why I started blogging. I gave a decent effort, but I don't think that I got everything out but I wanted to. I have severe anxiety, they're mostly social. Speaking to a camera knowing that someone's going to watch it is definitely not my strong suit. That's funny right somebody with severe anxiety, wanting to blog.

I'm attempting not to let my anxieties get in the way of me doing what I feel is right. And what I think is the right thing to do is to share my knowledge of what I know about my special needs kids. I want to help other families in my same situation in some way, actually in any way that I can.

As some of you might know I have been using the equate beauty acne treatment system for about 12 days now. I'm doing this quick post to inform you I'm going to stop the videos. I think using the products when your not in full break out causes your skin to dry out too much and so I'm not going to use it again until I have a serious breakout. I plan On doing a full review of how it worked for me still in the next few days so watch out for that .
