Daily School Report 01/07/15

We are having a friend stay at our house until tomorrow. She stayed last night as well. Jasmine always acts out in front of people, she turns into a totally different person and is extremely mean and mouthy to me. She does all this for attention, the bad type of attention but it is still her seeking attention. Not because we do not show her attention but because her needs for attention is excessive. It was toning done though a lot, but any time we have company she just reverts to her old behaviors. I asked Jasmine in the morning to find her own tennis shoes and she refused got super mouthy and when I didn't give in and get them for her she threw herself on the floor. Its is super embarrassing sometimes but I never give in. Giving in just enforces her bad behavior and makes her want to do it more. To say the least it was a rough morning. She was able to find her shoes by herself  in the end, but she really wasn't happy about it at all.

I stayed up after Jasmine left. Extremely hungry, I started making myself sausage and biscuits super early in the morning which isn't at all normal. I don't eat breakfast, I might eat breakfast things but never in the morning.

Dylan's morning was going great with ABA until his OT showed up. Dylan normally dislikes her presence a little, but today total fit! The fit lately the entire time she was here and even as I was putting him on the bus the fit was still happening. To be honest I wasn't sure the bus was going to let him ride. I just told her when the fit started and because of the ride he would most likely fall asleep on the way to school. So I let him go, and there were no phone calls all day from school.

Here we have Charter cable services. And lately they suck! Internet in and out all day long I can blog at all during the day because the internet will literally be on for 2 minutes and then cut our for like 20. But at night its just fine, which leads me to believe there working on something during the day but as soon as the sun starts to drop it stops. Its been like this the last 4 days though, and because we don't gets TV without internet is been seriously boring that last few of days. Even now I'm fighting through trying to make a post while it goes in and out :(

Dylan's teacher left comments today was an ok day. She thinks its going to take some time for Dylan to adjust to the new students in his classroom. When the new little boy cries, Dylan cries and it takes a long time like 15-30 minutes for Dylan to calm down. Even after the littler boy has stopped crying only after a couple of minutes.

Dylan has never adjusted at home to the crying of his little sister I'm writing the teacher a note to let her know this might be a huge problem now. Because Dylan has been this way around smaller children who make more noise always. It has been a problem at home since Sofia was born 2 years ago. At home we give him his own space, he can go  in his room and leave the area completely to calm down. at school he doesn't always have the option.

Well Jasmine got a new worksheet today to do for the Learning Success program. The game was aimed for dysgraphia (poor handwriting) and visual tracking, so reading and writing. It was extremely difficult in phase one and this will be one we try everyday until he she able to complete at least the first phase because I believe this is where Jasmine falls way behind. We will mix in the other games as well but I really want to focus on this one for a little while to see if it helps improve this area of learning for Jasmine.

She fell asleep already and has homework she should be doing. So exhausted though I cant get her to sit up and wake up. I think Ill just try to get her up early in the morning to do her homework.

Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow for another daily school report :)
