Jasmine didn't go to school today, because she hurt her foot yesterday in school and could barely walk on it. I ended up calling her family doctor in the morning to see if he could fit her in today, he couldn't. He ended up telling us to go right to the hospital, so that she could have an X-Ray done on it. Sure enough we get the and her foot is broken. (here's a horrible picture taken by my nexus, in the dark lol)
Dylan had a really rough morning. He had ABA but he screamed for the better part of it. We spent most of the time just trying to calm him down and keep him from scratching himself. Scratching seems to be the "new thing" for Dylan he expresses he is seriously upset. I dot like it, he keeps hurting himself and it doesn't take long at all. I'm now biting his nails almost everyday to make sure they are super short with no sharp edges that you can sometimes get with nail clippers. Its gross I know, but I don't care, I just want to keep him from hurting himself. Hes been also using the back of his hand to rub scabs off so the don't heal. He has a really bad one behind he ear he keeps rubbing the scab off and its not really healing. I think im going it start putting the greasy anti-bacterial cream on it, so the back of his hand will just slide off then it makes contact.
When we put him on the bus to school he didn't seem to upset. But in the teachers not she said he was scratching on the bus as well and the bus driver had to call the nurse to get him off the bus. He had blood every where and he was crying really bad. The got him calmed down by swinging and walks in the wagon. But he didn't do much in school he was too upset today.

As I mentioned above Dylan had a really rough day. After they calm him down he was ok in the gross motor room. And in the classroom at the end of the day which is free choice time. His teacher gave me some tips on how to keep Dylan from hurting himself by putting socks and the type of tape they use for blood work. She said she also thought he might be constipated, because he was squatting and crying about it in class, then he did eventually poop. I am definitely going to try the whole sock thing. We have try mittens in the past and he would just rip them off and throw them. It sounds like the tape is safe to use and wont hurt him also making it hard for him to get it off. Sounds like it will work!
Thanks for stopping by and come back on Monday for another daily school report.
